Off to the Airport!

Right now I'm sitting on my friends couch, waiting for my flight time to get closer. I'm feeling anxious and scared. However the strong support of my friends has kept me very excited as well.
It's a new day, and new time in my life, and I can't wait for the flight to happen so I can get this started. At the same time, I never want the flight to come because its hard to be away from my friends.

thankfully, we have the internet.

epic food!

So a big thing I'm going to miss while I'm gone is food, so I'm making sure to eat at some of my favorite places before I head of to a place full of new foods to fall in love with. Don't worry my current favorites, I'm sure I'll still love you too. These are not ranked in any particular order.

1. Chipotle
it may seem silly to have a love for fake mexican food, but its still nummy.
2. Mamma's Pizza
this pizza is a couple blocks from were I currently Live. It's majorly nummy. They have other great foods too, and if you eat in you get free ice cream for desert. They have my favorite sauce here.

3. Angelo's Pizza
They have my favorite cheese, and use plenty of garlic. Also, very affordable.
4. East Side Pizza
I really love their wings! spicy.
(noticing a pizza trend here)
5. The Nook
This is a bar that cooks a cheeseburger with the cheese on the inside. It's fries are really good too.
6. The Little Bar and Grill
This is a little bar in my home town where my Mom and my sister work that has good bar food. Everyone knows who I am, and it's like another home. Sometimes I feel like they know more about my life than I do.
7. Fogo De Choa
This is a super fancy five star restaurant that has UNLIMITED MEAT. It's sooooooo good. You eat until you are full. They give you a coaster with a red side and a green side. The waiters walk around carrying meat, and if you want some you switch to green, and they will offer it to you, and you just say how cooked you want it. Invariably, I'm a well done, or at least medium well done, kinda girl. Here is a  funny video out at Fogo.
as you can guess, one of the things I'm going to miss isn't just the food, but the people. Food is all well and good, but its the people you go out with that make it a really fun experience.

Eating isn't always about going out either, it's also about staying in.
1.Asta cooks some of the most delicious things I"ve ever eaten, almost never the same thing, generaly on the healthier side, and almost never anything normal. Upon my request she made the the cherrished.
Tatter Tot Hot Dish. Also, she made me a 4 course meal.

half moon pastries (stuffed with mint, feta, toasted pine nuts & craisins),

Greek salad, chicken and apricot filio pie

apple cardamom cupcakes.

Here is a small video of me with her

2.Dad. Dad makes great venison steaks.
3. Michelle, I love the salsa and dip she makes, and that noodle thingy with the pepperoni
4. Jess. Everything she has cooked as been great. I haven't found a favorite yet, but I'm sure I will.
5. Momma Colleen's Roasts. mmm roast. and her chicken dumpling stew!
6. Heathers cakes! and cookies!

packing/moving day

Now it isn't my last day here in America, I still have about 8 left. however, I'm not leaving the cleaning out of my room to the last minute.
Currently, I am living with my friend Heather and have a room full of my stuff. Well... it was full. After my efforts of weeks, I have boxed up everything I wish to keep and dispersed my possessions among friends and family. My Parents are taking the bulk of it, the major furniture, and about 15 boxes of stuff. My game consuls, computer, and costumes are being stored with friends who can use them while I am gone. I'd rather they be safe with friends then stored in a basement and unused for a year.

So now, I have my mattress and bedding, which i will shove into my car on my last day and drive over to my parents house, for they are keeping my car as well, and my luggage.

I know what I'm bringing, its all in my suitcases, but it is by no means in there correctly. I'm going to take time to go through, organize it. I want to make sure its stored correctly, and that none of my bags are over 50 lbs. Or if they are, only 1 is so I only have one fine... hopefully. Hopefully I can get everything under 50 lbs in them. I'm now in bed, I still have more to do, but I"m very tired. I've earned some time to play video games.

I took a little video in the middle of the work I was doing today.

things I'll miss

Things I'll miss will only exist while I'm not over there yet, but they are very short episodes.

A short introduction to me

So I created my first vlog entry to get me started so you know a little more about me. In case someone I don't know is checking out my blog.

clothes!

Today I unpacked the suitcases from the box, and picked out all the clothes and shoes that are going with me, and made sure they fit. Fit both on me and in the suitcase.

So I have everything I need to pack, my room is all packed up to be stored, but we are not to the "final packing day" yet. I've eaten all the food I wish to eat before I go. I'll Never be able to cuddle the kittens enough that I won't miss them, but I'm still trying to get all the cuddles in I can.

Last things left on my "to do before I leave" list are

Family Pictures
Family Dinner
Final Packing Day
Get back all my spare keys I've given out
Get a DVD case for the DVD's going with me
Get a keychain made out of a D20
Finish the Harry Potter scarves for my friends

Edit:
Call comcast and switch it to my roomate
Cancel my cell phone

I'm almost done!
